Thanks for having me! Beast Gains was an absolute blast to create. The collaboration process is always very hands-on, with valuable player-focused insights brought in from day one. This time, we built on the success of Beast Mode and Net Gains by remixing fan-favourite features into something fresh and exciting.
As for the theme, the jungle cruise concept just felt like the perfect fit. It allowed us to deliver something adventurous and energetic while keeping that familiar, accessible vibe players enjoy. It gave us creative freedom while still staying grounded in what works.
Beast Gains is built around a Feature Trail that keeps upgrading the experience across both the base game and Free Spins. Can you talk us through the decision to implement this and how it keeps players engaged?
We designed the Feature Trail so that every spin has the potential to drive progress. Cascading wins push the trail forward, unlocking mystery features, bombs, and progressive upgrades that apply across both the base game and Free Spins.
This creates visible momentum — players can literally see potential building in real time. There’s also the option to activate the Feature Trail directly from the bonus menu, giving players more control over how they approach the game.
Free Spins can be triggered with three to five scatters, and players get to choose from three different bonus modes. Why is player choice such a big focus in modern slot design?
